After a sportscasting stint in Syracuse TV and radio, Dave made it to the major leagues doing Yankees play-by-play on the MSG Network. He was the creator and original host of Mets Extra in 1986 and 87. He was the producer and announcer on Costas Coast-to-Coast as well as Jim McKay's Thoroughbred Connection. His TV anchoring includes Fox Sports South in Atlanta where he also did Atlanta Braves hosting and play-by-play. He won an Emmy in 1996 for his commentary on Dwight Gooden's no-hitter for the Yankees.
