The Hebrew Order of David International installed all of its new leadership teams during the International Weekend in Atlanta last March, from Grand Lodge to Governing Lodge of North America to all Lodges in North America.

Worthy Brethren and Brethren in Atlanta welcomed the initiation of Wor Bro Alan Rubenstein as President, Grand Lodge, marking the first time a North American holds the Order’s highest position. He succeeds Wor Bro Michael Margolis of the United Kingdom, where HOD was founded before rising to worldwide prominence in South Africa. Addressing a luncheon for HOD brethren and their families, he made it a point to specifically thank the spouses of brothers for supporting their efforts to help HOD grow in metro Atlanta and worldwide.

Wor Bro Mario Oves was installed as President, Governing Lodge of North America, marking the first time that post is held by a brother of Latin American descent. He succeeds Wor Bro David Joss.

At Lodge Bezalel, Wor Bro Barry Simon was installed for a second term as President.

HOD now has 21 lodges worldwide, including the recently-consecrated Lodge Edmond Safra in San Diego, CA becoming the ninth lodge in North America. Lodges are located in the US, the UK, South Africa, Canada and Israel.
